Hi Palm!
I hope you have all had the most wonderful Christmas holiday and are looking forward to our next term together! I cannot wait to hear about all of your Christmas adventures. We have lots of exciting learning in Spring 1- our topic is called 'Tribal Tales' and is full of fascinating knowledge and experiences based around the tribes of the world.
Our English lessons will include a study of 'The Wild Girl' by Chris Wormell. We will also learn to create an Amazonian tribal fact file and write our own book reviews.
I hope you have all been practicing those new times tables we started to learn, our adventures in multiplication and division continue over the next few weeks! We will also be building on our measuring knowledge from Year 2.
In history, we will learn all about what makes a historian before beginning to learn about Stone Age life in Britain.
Our science, ready to combat the darkness of midwinter, shall be a study of light! We will also be making our own Stone Age monuments in DT and lots of other learning opportunities besides!

P.E Timetable and Kit:
For Palm Class, P.E will be taking place on Monday mornings and Tuesday afternoons.
Children should have their PE kit in school throughout the week in case of any timetable changes.
P.E Kit requirements:
-Sky Blue Biscovey Academy t-shirt
-Navy Blue Biscovey Academy hoody
-Black shorts (black tracksuit bottoms can be worn for outside P.E. when the weather is cold)
